We are very happy to return again. The river does dry up regularly and we have these pauses lasting years sometimes, but this time we are better prepared and have a new gang in charge — very young, very active, and with a system in place.
I began the magazine, maybe the only English-language magazine of its kind in the country a few decades back, but couldn't continue. We returned again in the digital space, disappeared again as Covid hit the world, and now it's the third incarnation. Hoping it does, but we may disappear again — it's true. We are an optimistic lot and know we shall keep popping up.
This issue is dedicated to the memory of Shahrukh Picklu, a very esteemed contributor, friend and bon vivant of us all.
